Pimlico State High School Charity Benefit Concert 2026

Each year, our Year 12 Music students at Pimlico State High School choose a charity they would like our Music community to support through our annual Charity Benefit Concert.

For 2026, they have chosen Mummy’s Wish.

On Friday 16 October, our students, staff, families and wider Townsville community will come together at the Denise Glasgow Performing Arts Centre for a very special evening of music, with one shared goal — to make a real difference for families experiencing cancer.

Over the years, our Charity Benefit Concert has supported organisations including Ambulance Wish Queensland, QENDO, Brighter Lives and Feel the Magic, and the generosity of our community continues to amaze us.

This year, we’re aiming to raise more than $10,000 for Mummy’s Wish.

Mummy’s Wish provides tailored and practical support to mums diagnosed with cancer who have young children, anywhere in Australia and at any stage of their cancer experience.

Their support can include care packs, recordable Comfort Bears, educational books, counselling and practical assistance — helping take some of the pressure away from families during an incredibly difficult time.

At its heart, Mummy’s Wish is about giving mums something incredibly valuable: more time and support to simply be Mum.

We would love our Pimlico and Townsville community to get behind our students and help us make the 2026 Charity Benefit Concert something truly special.
