Mummy’s Wish has amalgamated its operations into Rare Cancers Australia (RCA).
The reason the Mummy’s Wish board and founder, Bernadette Vella, have taken this step is due to the program expanding so much that more resources are required to make sure Mummy’s Wish continues to provide practical support to as many mums with cancer as possible. We view the amalgamation as the most powerful way to continue increasing our reach and support services.
Rest assured support for our mums will continue as usual. The team will continue to accept referrals from our referral partners and provide support services to the current network of mums. They will continue to keep the mums we have previously supported close by. They will continue to allocate the funds so generously donated by our community to the planned projects as agreed.
We are very excited about this next step for Mummy’s Wish, and our staff look forward to continuing to work with you as a program of RCA.
